Avary was nominated by her science teacher to participate in the school district's art and technology fair. She was displaying her water cycle project. It was a story about a water droplet that she wrote using an app on the ipads that they use in her middle school. It's a cute story, with photos she got from the internet, combined with her adorable little water droplet characters that she drew on the ipad. School is so high tech now. I feel old.
While Avary sat at her booth for an hour and a half, the rest of us browsed the other displays at the fair. There were several that were interactive, so the boys got to make music with bananas...
And try out a couple of different virtual reality devices. They were impressed to say the least.
They also got some stickers from the school lunch booth, and Jakob was very proud to wear his milk mustache. He's starting the new upside down stache trend. You are no longer cool unless you can grow your mustache upside down.
